Thanks, I did have some help from the guys in the chatroom, which is definitely the way to go with these quizzes; sometimes stuff is obvious to others that isn't to me, especially with that 20-year gap (1977-1997) in my comics knowledge.

For me it's a slightly shorter gap -- in fact the '70s and '80s were my prime comic-reading years -- but almost anything that happened in comics between 1990 and 2002 is a complete mystery to me.
