Blog of Horror: Crackin' Skulls (Win a Prize)!

Continuing the Blog of Horror's march toward Halloween (and to celebrate my 600th post), I thought it would be fun to do another contest for those trivia-saturated brains out there. In the past, I've had you identify characters with blue names, black names, red names, and even patriotic characters for the 4th of July...but this time of year requires something a little creepier, don't you think? With that in mind, I've tracked down twenty-one comic book skull characters, or, more accurately, characters whose heads are either covered with skull masks or (in some cases) are actual exposed skulls! Although a few of them are good guys, it should come as no surprise that the vast majority of them are bad guys. 

The first person to correctly identify all 21 characters...or to identify the most characters by high noon on Tuesday, October 14th will win a free month of Netflix movie rentals* (preferably some scary movies, considering the season)!

One more thing:  I'm going to turn off the comments for this post, since I don't want anyone "borrowing" the answers of others to help complete their own lists.  In this age of Google and Wiki-assisted research, I've gotta do something to keep it challenging!
