As much as I enjoy blathering on about comics, the real highlight of my Comic Coverage experience has been all the great people I've come into contact with. Your comments and emails really make it a joy, even when things get a little hectic.
Yesterday, however, marked my first phone call from a fan of Comic Coverage...a fan who turned out to be Frank Kasy, a Chicago illustrator and actor who also happens to be the Superman photo-reference model for Alex Ross! It's no secret I'm a die-hard fan of Ross' work, and of his version of Superman in particular...so it was a real kick (and a little surreal) to learn that Frank enjoyed my lil' ol' blog.

Frank: Thanks for the kind words, your interest in Comic Coverage,
and for helping Alex conjure up my ideal version of Superman!
Cool posting Mark! Congrads on being famous ... sort of. It's great that people like this watch your blog and let you know they like it.
Now if Alex Ross would give you a call ...

Hey, now that I've heard from Superman, who needs to hear from Alex Ross?
KIDDING! Great to hear from you, Dan! (Dan and I used to work together about 100 years ago).
