a thought, prayer and thanks to the men and women in uniform who serve and to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to help keep us free and safe.

I just came from a local Memorial Day service (my daughter was playing in the high school marching band in attendance), and it was a great way to mark the day. From the color guards, to the speakers, and the music & singing, it powerfully brought home what this day is really about (and not Extra Crazy furniture sales or drunken barbecues).
