Years ago, when fans would ask about the date of Superman's birthday, the DC editors would often reply "February 29th". The extra day of the Leap Year (which only comes around every four years) seemed to be a clever way of explaining why Superman aged so slowly...not to mention subtly tying in with his legacy of leaping (as in "tall buildings").
So, on this February 29th, what better way to celebrate Superman's Leap Year birthday than with a super-leap from Orlando Magic player Dwight Howard, the winner of the 2008 Sprite Slam Dunk Contest?
I'm searching for a story I'm sure recall, with Lois taking advantage of the Leap Day opportunity to propose to Superman, but not finding it right now.

Funny you should mention that, since I just found out today (from an article in the paper) that it was an ancient tradition for women to propose marriage on Leap Day....which the Lois story seems to be tapping into.

Crazy hops... huge man. Did he touch the rim? IS that grounds for disqualification.
