Are You a Winner O' The Green?

Gosh and Begorrah! What better day for a green-themed color contest than St. Patrick's Day?

Much like my previous blue, black, red, and white-themed contests, I've tracked down several comic book characters that all have the color green in common. Ahhh, but this time I've added a twist. As before, some characters will have names that include the word "green"...or synonyms like "emerald" or "jade". However, other characters will not have "green" (or any of its synonyms) in their name, but will actually have green-colored skin.

Some characters are obvious and easy to guess, while a few are incredibly obscure...and the first person to name all twenty-seven of them, or guess the most names by 6:00 pm on Thursday, March 18^th will win a free month of Netflix DVD rentals* (like maybe The Hulk, The Emerald City of Oz, Anne of Green Gables, Envy, Godzilla, Curse of the Jade Scorpion, The Grass is Greener, etc). 

A few ground rules: Anyone is welcome to play...even those of you who've won a previous contest. I'll be turning off the comments for this post, since I don't want anyone "borrowing" the answers of others to complete their own lists. Oh, and only cheaters use Google, Wikipedia, or leprechauns...so let your conscience be your guide.
